Smarturns is a smart safety stove device. This innovative fire prevention solution is designed to keep your loved ones safe.

Its primary function is to alert the stove user and/or caregiver when the stove is left unattended for an extended period of time. Smarturns helps to reduce the risk of kitchen fires and increases the overall household safety. When the stove's burners are on, the sensors monitor user movement. If the stove remains on and unattended for an extended period of time (customizable), the stove user will be notified via a local alarm on the hub. The user and/or a carer can also be alerted via the mobile phone application and through text.

This proactive approach empowers users to promptly address potential fire hazards, preventing accidents and providing peace of mind. With Smarturns, the concern of leaving a stove unattended is a thing of the past. Compatible with gas and electric stoves.

    Unattended stoves are reported as the main source of house fires, posing a significant safety risk, particularly for individuals living with dementia. As the disease progresses, forgetfulness and confusion can worsen safety concerns, increasing the risk of accidents like kitchen fires. At Eugeria, we believe that maintaining independence in daily activities like cooking is essential for the well-being and quality of life of older adults. We particularly like Smarturns stove knobs for its proactive approach that allows older adults to continue using the stove safely, while giving caregivers and family members peace of mind.     An excellent tool that allows my father to maintain his independence for longer. The buttons, motion detector, and station are relatively easy to install. The app was a nightmare to set up. Several attempts on two phones before succeeding. Fortunately, once installed, the app is FANTASTIC. I receive a notification when my father turns on and off one of the stove burners. A notification when my father has not been monitoring the cooking for more than 10 minutes. By clicking on the app, I get the exact usage time of the burners, the duration of unattended cooking, etc. All accessible more than 85 km away from my father. On-site, my father will get a loud audible warning when he is away for more than 10 minutes. The sound stops as soon as my father returns to the stove. My father has frequent absences. We were afraid he would forget something on the stove. Now, I can monitor remotely and ensure his safety. Suggestion: improve the app's setup... and if one day it becomes possible to have a tool that monitors oven cooking remotely and allows turning everything off from a distance, that would be ideal.
