This is a beautifully written and illustrated story of how the relationship between a boy and his grandfather changes with Alzheimer’s, and how the love between them still remains. My 7 year old has really been struggling with grief and anxiety around his Nana’s condition. Reading such a relatable story about another kid going through similar things made him feel understood and validated all the feelings he has been having. It was also a wonderful springboard for what stages are coming ahead.
